Marking off a decade of fear with immersive horror
From haunted houses, scare zones and special performances, we helped to create another dimension of horror for their 10th edition.
The iconic Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) event returns for its 10th edition after a 2-year hiatus. Working closely with Resorts World Sentosa, we supported them in creating chillingly immersive multimedia experiences they sought to deliver to their guests, year after year.
This year’s theme was a vivid reimagination of horror experiences, from the ‘Killustrator’ and demented prisoners to zombie apocalypses and haunted hotels. This gave us the opportunity to experiment in different horror art styles in our production, where we ultilized motion capture, 3D projection mapping and holographic illusions to create new nightmares.
EXTENDED REALITY FILMING
“Escape The Breakout” brings guests deep into the world’s deadliest facility where a shock therapy session has gone wrong. Filmed on an LED XR stage, we developed a virtual set combined with physical props such as a metal bed and tray to capture a terrifying escape sequence in real time.
The future of horror will be an amalgamation of physical horror elements and virtual multimedia, to bring horror immersion to a new level.
