Creative Development Broadcast AR Live Streaming
A breakthrough spectacle for the nation
Singapore’s 1st National Day Parade (NDP) show to incorporate live broadcast Augmented Reality effects.
See the highlightsFor the 56th celebration of Singapore’s birthday, we embarked to bring Broadcast AR technology into the NDP show’s history for the very first time. The use of 3D real-time graphics display technology sought to blur the lines between reality and virtual, keeping the effects “invisibly seamless”.

From rain weather effects, a massive levitating mirror-ball, to a brilliant dance of a hummingbird, the show pushed the boundaries of designing immersive home viewing experiences for large-scale outdoor events.
A significant milestone was achieving lifelike visual illusions in an outdoor floating stage area covering more than 5000 square metres, a technological feat that is typically achievable only in an indoor-built studio setting.
LAUNCH DAY
This inaugural use of 3D real-time graphics display technology on such a large-scale, outdoor level symbolizes new possibilities in how broadcast viewers can experience immersive graphics even from home.
