Navigate panoramic 360° photographs of Singapore’s museum spaces, and discover clues to hidden treasures.
Launch siteChildren’s Season 2020 is a digital exhibition targeted at the younger generation, to provide them with cultural and educational experiences. A first-time collaboration with a renowned local artist Peter Draw, the exhibition features the iconic comic character Ai – the mascot of Children’s Season 2020 – where you explore the 360° museum spaces through the story of Ai, a six-year-old boy and his grandfather.
A web and mobile game were developed with immersion as the main focus, and 22 museums shot in panorama as the main attraction. With a full range of activities and educational content available, virtual explorers will be able to click on icons to read nuggets of information about featured artefacts or selected spots in the galleries.
In order to keep the visitors constantly engaged, all the museums have gamification features such as a classic Hide-and-Seek game with Ai. Within the panoramic photographs, visitors can discover clues to hidden treasures embedded inside, and unlock specials outfits for Ai for that particular museum, instilling a greater sense of engagement.
Being the first to recreate 22 museums in a 360° space, Children’s Season 2020 was covered by many press media such as The Straits Times, Timeout. Littlestepasia and the New Paper.
